For each $50 JCPenney gift card you buy, you’ll earn 500 Reward Points which are worth $0.50 off per gallon on up to 25 gallons. If you’re able to refuel to that 25 gallon limit, you’d be saving $12.50 which means you’re effectively saving 25% on JCPenney gift cards. That should make this deal profitable for resellers.
Note that while there’s a limit of 1 per transaction, you can do as many transactions as you like. You can therefore scale this as large as you like, with the only limit being how much fuel you need.
