I’m not sure if this deal is available at all grocery stores that Albertsons owns (Safeway, Shaw’s, Tom Thumb, Vons & more), or if it’s only some of their stores. It’s not listed in the latest Safeway weekly ad and there’s no Just For U digital coupon for it. I feel like they ran a similar promotion a few months ago and it was only available at certain stores / in certain areas.
I’d therefore only take advantage of this deal if there’s a sign for it on the gift card rack at your local store and even then you might have hassles. When a similar deal ran last time, the Shaw’s I was near in Vermont had a sign up about it. My wife and I both bought participating brands, but it didn’t give either of us the coupons. We therefore had to spend about 30 minutes while a couple of different staff members worked out what they needed to do.
Seeing as you’re only saving $10, it requires the purchase of $25 of groceries and there are limited participating brands, this is only going to be good for personal use and isn’t particularly scaleable at that.
