Most of the third party gift card deals have the potential for being break even or profitable if you value BonusCash as good as cash.
The $6 BonusCash with the Visa gift card deal won’t fully offset the activation fees seeing as you have to buy two cards in order to get that discount. However, if you buy two $200 cards and pay with a card that earns more at drugstores (e.g. Citi Dividend is paying 5% this quarter), you should come out ahead.
