If you value BonusCash as cash, earning $8 back when spending $50 equates to a 16% discount. That’s not amazing for Build-A-Bear Workshop as their gift cards are often available at a 20% discount. It’s probably a better deal with Burlington as their gift cards don’t go on sale as frequently.
There’s a limit of 2 per customer and this seems to be per card brand. You should therefore be able to buy $100 of Burlington gift cards and $100 of Build-A-Bear Workshop gift cards and get $32 back in BonusCash.
If you have a credit card that earns more at drugstores, that’ll make this gift card deal even more rewarding. For example, the Chase Freedom card is earning 5% at drugstores from January-March 2019.
