Tips & Ideas
Ralph Lauren sells both physical and digital gift cards online and appears to process payment for both types of gift card. That means you can buy a $200 Ralph Lauren gift card online to trigger the Amex Offer and lock in the discount.
With similar offers in the past there were two versions of the offer – one giving $40 back and one giving 4,000 Membership Rewards. If you’re targeted for both, you can load one version of the offer on one card and the other version on another card.
You can also buy a gift card in-store. It’s nice that Polo Factory store purchases are also eligible seeing as some people will only have that type of store nearby. If buying from a Polo Factory store, you can stack it with a card-linked offer from an RCLON-backed in-store program like Rakuten in-store, United shopping portal in-store offers, Alaska Airlines shopping portal in-store offers, etc.

Anyone get banned by RL?
I had never ordered before from RL, but purchased eGC. Then later P2 attempted to purchase and after talking to CS, they said P2 account was banned and would not be allowed to purchase again.
FYI I don’t see Ralph Lauren as an in-store offer at Rakuten, UA, AS. Maybe they are targeted. https://www.rakuten.com/in-store , https://www.mileageplanshopping.com/instore , https://shopping.mileageplus.com/instore
Oh, I hadn’t double checked that before republishing this the other day, so they must not be on card-linked offers at the moment.
Thanks for mentioning it though because I didn’t even know AS had card linked offers
