The terms for each of these offers exclude gift cards, but that’s not to say that it’ll be enforced. It’s probably best to stay away from exact $505.95 purchases from Walmart though.

Once you’ve used an offer once, I think you have to relink it to your card(s) if you want to make another purchase at that same retailer.
There are Amex Offers and Chase Offers for many of these retailers right now. That includes Macy’s, Tommy Hilfiger, Omaha Steaks, bluemercury and more. Provided gift card purchases do track and pay out with Rakuten, that could make several of these brands profitable for reselling.
There could be other gift card buying opportunities that might not seem immediately obvious. For example, some (or maybe all) Old Navy stores have third party gift card racks that carry Amazon gift cards.
