Tips & Ideas
The requirement to spend $200 to get the $10 promo code means at most you’d be saving an additional 5% off already discounted gift cards. That’s not bad if you’re a regular purchaser on Raise, but the fact that you have to spend $100 in the next couple of days and are then restricted to using the $10 promo code in a one week period will make it less interesting for many people.
[…] Hat tip to GC Galore […]
The requirement is to spend $100 to get the $10 promo code, thus it is an additional 10% of savings.
You have to spend $100 initially and then you have to spend $100 again to get the $10 off, so that works out to be 5% of savings across the entire amount.
Last time I did this and THEY GAVE NO REMINDER to use the code. No email “your code is ready.” Nada. Maybe you can post a reminder on your blog for the hapless folks like me.
Thanks for the suggestion – I’ve set a reminder to do that on July 1.
You are a hero for which there is no equal
You’re welcome. Just out of interest, do they email you the code as soon as you make your first $100 purchase then, rather than on July 1 once it can be used?
They didn’t contact me whatsoever. I just went back to the landing page from your link on this blog after you reminded me, and indeed the code worked once I did that. Really poor follow-up on the part of Raise.
Yeah, that’s disappointing that they don’t give you any kind of notification.
