This is a great deal for a couple of reasons. First, it’s around for the next couple of weeks, so there’s plenty of time to take advantage of it.
Secondly, the 500 bonus points are earned on top of the 2x you earn from the other promotion when buying gift cards. That means if you buy a $50 gift card from the list of eligible brands above, you’ll earn 600 points. Those can be redeemed for $6 off groceries or 30c off per gallon of gas on up to 20 gallons. Based on the original $50 gift card purchase, that means you’d be saving 12% overall, making Home Depot profitable for reselling for some people.
Do you happen to know if the 1000 bonus point cards are one per transaction or can multiples be bought together while still earning 1000 on each of them?
