These 1,000 bonus points are on top of the 2x points you earn as standard when buying third party gift cards. That means that if you buy a $50 gift card, you’ll earn 1,100 AdvantEdge points. Those points can be redeemed for $11 off groceries and up to $11 off gas.
That means you’re effectively getting a 22% discount which is fantastic value considering the brands involved and will be profitable for reselling. There aren’t any limits listed in the weekly ad, so I’m assuming you can buy as many $50 gift cards as you like, although I’m not sure if that has to be done in separate transactions or not.
As always with gift card deals at grocery stores, pay with a card that earns more at supermarkets to make it even more rewarding.
