Tips & Ideas
With a limit of 5,000 points, you’ll max out this offer when spending $500.
Gift card purchases are excluded, but that doesn’t always seem to be enforced. You can therefore hopefully buy Apple gift cards from their website or in-store to lock in the 10% cashback. Note that you’ll initially earn 1x, while the other 9x will be credited a month later. You therefore won’t know for sure if you’re getting the 10x back until long after the promotion has ended.
Unless you can a buyer at 91% or more I don’t see how this deal is useful
Yep, some buyers sometimes have rates of 91-92% for Apple.
It could also be useful on the gift card front for someone who knows they’ll want to buy from Apple in the near future. They could buy a gift card now to lock in the savings seeing as this 10x rate is only around for the next few days.
So the title says it should work on gift cards but the terms say it doesn’t work on gift cards. Which is it?
The terms exclude gift cards, but with other deals like this (Amazon, Costco, Best Buy, etc.) there’s a gift card exclusion but that’s not enforced. It should therefore work on gift cards, but I can’t guarantee that.
