10x points on the Point debit card is effectively 10% cashback which is a great return and makes it a much better option than getting a 5% discount on a Target RedCard.

With a limit of 5,000 points, you’ll max this out when spending $500. Gift cards are listed as being excluded, but that hasn’t been enforced with other Access offers on the Point debit card, so I wouldn’t be too surprised if you earn 10x on gift cards from this offer too.

There aren’t any good gift card deals at Target this week unless you need prepaid phone gift cards, but it could be a good way to save 10% on brands like Target and Disney. This deal runs through Sunday when their next set of deals will launch, so hopefully they start running a better deal then.
