Update 12/17/20: Google Pay is offering 10% cashback at PetSmart. It’s a card-linked offer, but you have to activate it and ensure the card with this Amex Offer loaded to it is enrolled in the offer.
Rakuten also offers in-store cashback at PetSmart and is currently giving 4%/4x. That’ll stack as well, although with their offer there’s a gift card exclusion and so that might not track or get clawed back. If you have the $100/$20 version of the Amex Offer, you could buy a $100 gift card and get a total of $34 back which is an excellent deal.
Update: There’s a version of this PetSmart Amex Offer giving $20 back when spending $100.

Tips & Ideas
Gift card purchases online are excluded because payment for those isn’t processed by PetSmart and so doesn’t trigger the Amex Offer. You can buy a $75 PetSmart gift card in-store though to lock in the 13.33% discount. (Update: There’s also a $100 version of the offer giving $20 back, so that’s a 20% discount.)
PetSmart often runs a bonus card deal leading up to the holidays, so we’ll hopefully see one of those so that you can tack these savings with earning a bonus card. Having said that, I can’t remember if the bonus card deals are available in-store or if they’re online-only.
