Tips & Ideas
Note that this deal is giving double points rather than a 10% discount. That means you’ll get 10% back in points redeemable towards other gift cards in the app, rather than 10% off + 5% back towards other gift cards. 5% is awarded now, with the other 5% being awarded mid-July.
You can get a better discount from Newegg and Costco, so this isn’t too enticing.
The terms state that this deal can’t be combined with other offers, so I think that means that you won’t earn additional points if you’re currently earning 10% back on all purchases if you’re a new customer.
You can pay with an Amex Business Gold card to earn 4x Membership Rewards if this is one of your top two spending categories this billing period.

Showing 3x Points Today Only in my app for Uber/Uber Eats.
Huh, I don’t have that in my app but I do have a 2x promo for Amazon. Wonder if it will end up as 3x as well, given the extra 1x/5+5% promo that ends today. Only shows 5% in immediate points and the 2x terms say the addl 5% will be in July, just like the overall promo, but since it’s called out specifically as 2x Amazon, we’ll see!
Does the Uber promo say 3x or 2x?
The Uber deal expired yesterday. It started off as 2x, but they increased it later in the day to 3x.
I imagine Uber didn’t sell as well as they’d hoped (due to Costco selling it for 20% off), so they increased the reward. For Amazon, I’d be surprised if they boosted it to 3x as 2x is still a good rate for Amazon. Fingers crossed though!
Ah, that makes sense, I just clicked through on the daily email today. 🙂 And Amazon was unavailable when I tried to buy it, ya snooze ya lose!
