This can be used to buy both digital and physical gift cards from Best Buy; the only exception is Best Buy eGift cards because payment for those are processed by CashStar, but third party eGift cards are fine.
It’s a good way to save 10% on gift cards which can stack with other gift card deals they’re running while this offer is still live. It’d be best to redeem it sooner rather than later though as I imagine they’ll max out the 40,000 redemptions before December 31 comes around.
