Tips & Ideas
The terms of the Amex Offer excludes gift card purchases through Guest Services, but I’m assuming that’s not the same as buying it in-restaurant. It should therefore be possible to buy a $50 P.F. Chang’s gift card in a restaurant to lock in the 20% discount.
P.F. Chang’s is also running a gift card promo for the holidays where they’re offering $20 promo cards for every $100 spent on gift cards. If you and another household member have this offer, you could load it to both cards and split the $100 payment. You’d then get $120 of value for $80. Note that the $20 promo cards can only be redeemed within limited dates though; as they’ll expire, they can’t be resold.
There might also be a 1,000 Membership Rewards version of this offer, but my wife and I only had the statement credit of the offer.
