This isn’t as good as fee-free deals or $15 instant discounts as it means the deal isn’t even break even, let alone profitable. Having said that, the rewards earned by paying with a 5x/5% card can more than outweigh what’s left of the activation fees after the $10 off.
The Doctor of Credit post has the expiry date listed as September 29, but I’d have thought it’d be September 28 as these deals normally end on the Saturday.
