This is a pretty good deal given that the $10 bonus comes in the form of a Visa eGift card rather than a Home Depot gift card. Having said that, you’ll need to remember to use it before it expires. The 6 month expiry date helps ensure you’ll have enough time though.
The easiest way to drain the $10 gift card will presumably be to buy a $10 Amazon gift card. Otherwise, there are some retailers (e.g. Sam’s Club) that allow you to do a split purchase online, in which case you could drain the $10 card that way and pay the balance of the transaction with a different card.
There’s a limit of 2 per customer, but that’s only enforced every 48 hours. Provided this doesn’t sell out before the expiry date, you should be able to hit this deal three times before it expires.
Newegg allows you to checkout via PayPal, so this could be a good way to start maxing out this quarter’s 5% Discover category.
