Netflix gift cards were excluded in the past, but these recent offers haven’t had that exclusion and so they should earn the $5 rewards for every $50 spent. If you’re reselling, other high value options that aren’t excluded include Best Buy, eBay, Home Depot and Lowe’s.

In case you’re not familiar with how this deal works, the $5 doesn’t come off straight away. It gets loaded to your mPerks card and provides a discount off your next shopping trip. If you were to purchase the gift cards as soon as you get to Meijer, the rewards should be available by the time you check out if you do a grocery shop after that, although it does say to allow two hours before the reward is available. I think Meijer sends an email once it’s loaded to your account, so that can help you know once it’s loaded.
