Meijer has offered more generous deals on Happy gift cards before, so this one is likely only worthwhile if you wanted a Happy gift card for personal use anyway.
When Meijer ran this deal last year, they changed it later in the week to offering a $10 Meijer gift card rather than $5, so hopefully that’ll happen again but I wouldn’t count on it..

Tired of liquidating those $50 happy cards. Does the 10% off offer(when it’s available) work on happy cards? Never tried that.
I think so – I don’t remember seeing an exclusion for Happy gift cards on those deals. However, if you’re buying to resell then there are usually brands that are more profitable than Happy (e.g. Best Buy).
When I rang up, this ended up being a straight $5 off. No $5 Meijer gift card needed!
There’s a separate deal yesterday and today giving 10% off most gift cards including Happy. That deal and this one should’ve stacked, so you could’ve gotten a $50 Happy gift card and a $5 Meijer gift card for $45.
