Tips & Ideas

Past Macy’s Amex Offers have given $10 back when spending only $60, so it’s a shame that $100 of spend is required for this offer. We sometimes see variations of Amex Offers though, so let us know in the comments if you have a different version of this offer.

Macy’s sells both physical and digital gift cards online and appears to process payment for both themselves, so you can buy a $100 Macy’s gift card online to lock in the 10% discount.

However, it might be better to visit an actual Macy’s store to take advantage of this offer. The reason why is because Rakuten has Macy’s as one of its in-store card-linked offers. Gift card purchases are excluded, but that’s not necessarily enforced. At the time of writing this post they’re only offering 1%/1x for Macy’s, but I think that’s gone up to 10%/10x at times, so it wouldn’t surprise me if we see that happening again during the holidays.
