Tips & Ideas
This is a great offer because even after taking into account the purchase fee of the Visa gift card and the resale rate for Lowe’s gift cards, it should still be profitable.
You can stack this with the Lowe’s Amex Offer. Alternatively you could pay with a card that has the +4 referral offer or the $200 home furnishings credit that’s coming on newly acquired Amex cards when you’ve been referred by someone else.
Seeing as the terms state that there’s a limit of two per email address, I’m assuming you have to submit a code that appears on your register receipt. That means it should be easy to scale the deal. Update: I’ve added the rest of the terms above thanks to the photo provided by EW.
h/t Doctor of Credit & thanks to EW for the photo of the offer.
I just tested it out. There’s one more catch: it’s ONE PER TRANSACTION. So, if you buy more than one you should buy them in separate transactions. Yes, you can use the email address twice, but each card has to be bought separately and linked to a different receipt.
Thanks for the heads up about that – I’ll get that added to the post.
I can also confirm there is not a limit of one Visa gift card per transaction. I purchased 3 cards with same design in same transaction and I received 3 $15 Lowe’s egc using 2 email addresses.
I was able to buy 2 in the same transaction and received the bonus on each card. I did buy two different SKU’s, if that matters.
I bought two (same SKU) in same transaction and received both bonus codes.
Thanks all – I’ve struck out that point now seeing as so many people have had success buying multiple cards in the same transaction.
Confirming the purchase of 2 in the same transaction and received both $15 eGC for a total of $30.
I was told that I couldn’t buy more than $500 at one time because the registers were hard coded to reject the same card. They said that the registers would charge me and not activate the cards.
Some brands certainly have velocity limits like that. I know Amazon is one such brand as I’ve encountered that issue myself before, but I’m not sure if Visa gift cards are affected by that.
