Happy gift cards can be bought in variable load amounts up to $500. It looks like this particular digital coupon can only be used on one transaction.
For every $250 spent, you’ll earn 1,000 fuel points. Those can be used to save $1 off per gallon on up to $35 gallons. If you’re able to refuel to that limit (either with one vehicle with a large tank or a couple of cars), you’d be saving $35 on $250 of original spend which works out to be a 14% discount.
Some brands of Happy gift cards can be used to buy third party gift cards at Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby. That can therefore make this deal profitable for reselling depending on how much you can actually save on fuel.
This digital coupon will expire on June 4. It might therefore be worth waiting until at least June 1 to use it; if you do that, you’ll be able to use the fuel points until the end of July. If you bought a Happy gift card by the end of May, those fuel points would only be available through to the end of June.
