The dates for this offer work perfectly with how Kroger’s fuel points program works as your points expire at the end of the month after you earn them. That means points you earn at the beginning of March are valid until the end of April, giving you plenty of time to make use of them.
If you have vehicles with large fuel tanks, this can be a good deal as you can save up to 14% on gas when buying gift cards.
If you buy a $250 gift card during the promotion period, you’ll earn 1,000 fuel points. That’s worth $1 off per gallon on up to 35 gallons. Filling up to that 35 gallon limit means you’d be saving 14% on that original $250 purchase.
This deal is only valid from March 1-3, so hold off on buying your gift cards until then. Remember to pay with a credit card that earns more at grocery stores.
