The Deal
- Refer 2 people to Ibotta who make a redemption in the app & receive $5 per person + share of $50,000.

Key Terms
- Savers may earn a $5 referral bonus by referring friends who (i) are new users to the Ibotta app (“New Users”); and (ii) redeem a qualifying offer between 5/1/20 and 5/31/20 (the “Referral Period“) (collectively, “Referred Savers”). A qualifying offer excludes Any Brand, Any Receipt, and Any Item offers.
- Online Shopping transactions are not considered a qualifying offer until the offer pending period is complete and the offer is credited to a New User’s account.
- To qualify for the Split Pot Bonus (share of $50,000), you must successfully refer 2 or more friends between 5/1/20 and 5/31/20 (the “Referral Period”).
- Referred friends must be new users to Ibotta who redeem a qualifying offer during the Referral Period. A qualifying offer excludes Any Brand, Any Receipt, and Any Item offers.
- Mobile Shopping transactions are not considered a qualifying offer until credited.
- All referring users who qualify will split a $50,000 pot. Therefore, referral credit is dependent upon the number of users who qualify during the Referral Period.
- Payout will be delivered the first week June.
- Ibotta does not guarantee referring users will receive any particular payout amount when payout occurs.
Tips & Ideas
Ibotta can be used for savings at grocery stores, as well as some other types of stores (liquor stores, etc.). The number of offers available depends on which grocery stores you shop at; I’ve found that Walmart seems to have the largest selection of offers.
Ibotta also has a feature called Pay With Ibotta where you can buy gift cards instantly. They’re currently offering 20% on Steak n’ Shake gift cards, 6% for DoorDash, 9% for Cabela’s and more. Based on the terms listed above, I don’t get the impression that Pay With Ibotta purchases are eligible transactions for the new members – the people you refer would need to redeem at least one regular offer.
