These are fantastic offers because Best Buy is already offering a 10% discount on all of these brands. Earning another 5% cashback for Airbnb and Lululemon in particular is therefore a bonus that can make these deals of more interest for resellers.
These deals are due to expire on January 2, 2022; when redeeming a recent offer it subsequently disappeared from the app but then reappeared a day or two later. If you redeem any of these it’s therefore worth keeping an eye on Ibotta for the few days after that in case you can do the deals again.
To find these deals you need to search for BestBuy.com in the Ibotta app, then scroll the category bar across to the ‘Gift Cards’ section – these aren’t gift cards sold by Ibotta themselves.
Have these been tracking for people? And any idea if the BB email has to match ibotta email for it to track?
The first time I did it for AMC Theatres it tracked. It didn’t track for Bath & Body Works and The Children’s Place recently and so I had to raise a claim. I saw DPs of the Delta gift card offers tracking correctly, so it seems to be mixed. The email address presumably doesn’t have to match because the AMC one tracked for me and my Ibotta and Best Buy business account emails don’t match.
I also had trouble previously. I just bought the 200 Airbnb, so far hasn’t tracked.

Still a bit confused — Is Ibotta one of those app-only cash-back engines ? I’d seemed to remember so, from the past, but now I am able to see the various promos when logging in on-line (despite having deleted the app)…. Put differently, must we go through that ibotta app to get the cash back, or does it work now just as well (when its tracking) on-line from the ibotta website?
I think they have a website with limited functionality, but for these Best Buy offers I think you have to go via the app.
