You should be able to buy a $300 Hyatt gift card from the front desk of a Hyatt Regency property in order to lock in the discount from this Amex Offer.
Make sure that they’ll be providing you with a physical gift card though; I once bought a Hyatt gift card from the front desk of the Hyatt Regency Columbus, OH in order to take advantage of a past Amex Offer, only to discover that they’d ordered me a Hyatt eGift card online via Buyatab. Seeing as Buyatab processes the payment, it doesn’t trigger the statement credit for the Amex Offer.
