Tips & Ideas
Gift card purchases are excluded, but you should still be able to trigger the statement credit from this Amex Offer by buying a $300 gift card from the front desk of a hotel which sells them. Note that it has to be a physical gift card; if a hotel buys an eGift card on your behalf, payment is processed by Buyatab and so doesn’t trigger this Amex Offer.
Neither my wife nor I were targeted for this offer unfortunately as we’re currently staying at a Hyatt House. We both redeemed the previous Hyatt Amex Offer a couple of months ago, so perhaps people who used that offer aren’t targeted, but it’s worth checking all your Amex cards anyway just in case. We’ll just have to make do with the 10% Hyatt Chase Offer.
