Tips & Ideas
It looks like this offer is valid at any Hyatt property, although I’m not sure if it’s good only for US-based properties or overseas too.
You should be able to buy a $250 physical gift card from the front desk of a hotel to lock in the 20% discount. Be sure to verify beforehand that you’ll be getting a physical gift card rather than an eGift card though; I once bought a gift card at a Hyatt Regency with a different Amex Offer and they sent it to the email on my account. That payment was processed by Buyatab and so didn’t trigger the Amex Offer statement credit.
There might also be a version of the offer which offers 5,000 Membership Rewards, but I don’t know if that’s the case.
