Hy-Vee can sometimes be generous in the way that their promotions are set up; I’m not sure if that’s the case here though. What would be ideal is if buying a $500 gift card earned you a $50 Hy-Vee gift card rather than having to buy 5x $100 gift cards in separate transactions in order to get 5x $10 Hy-Vee gift cards. Please let us know in the comments below if you find out how the promotion functions.
Just visited a Hy-Vee and it looks like you need to do $100 GCs rather than $500 in order to get the $10 gift cards. The good news is that they can all be processed in a single transaction. Did 10, $100 Home Depot and it allowed processing of 10, $10 Hy-Vee cards.
