This is a sweet deal and is much better than the HP Amex Offers that we sometimes see. With a maximum statement credit of $186, you’ll max this out when spending $930 which seems a slightly weird amount for them to choose.
It should be possible to buy HP gift cards to lock in the discount for personal use or for reselling. eGift card purchases have triggered HP Amex Offers before, so I suspect (and hope) that’s the case with this Chase Offer.
The offer can only be used once, so you’ll need to add multiple gift cards to your cart before checking out.
This offer might only be available on business cards, so be sure to check those as I had this and a few other offers available even on a Marriott Business card that I never use.
