Tips & Ideas
There used to be HP Amex Offers somewhat regularly, but it’s been two years since the last one and so it’s great to see it make a return. You can buy an HP eGift card to lock in the 20% discount which could be useful for resellers.
If possible, save to an Amex Business Gold card as that offers 4x Membership Rewards on HP spend. Also click through from a shopping portal as in the past gift card purchases have tracked – here are the current rates. The terms state that you have to use the link Amex provides, but HP Amex Offers have always said that and that’s never been enforced as it just takes you to the regular HP site like shopping portals do.
Have you tried it yourself buying a HP gift card on the HP website by going through Rakuten? Did Rakuten track for 10%?
Yep, it’s always tracked in the past and both purchases I made today have tracked.
Thank you for the confirmation. Good to know it tracked recently for you. Also, will you see the HP gift card to someone or just use it for your own purchases?
I’ll be reselling it. If keeping for personal use, I think it might’ve been possible to earn portal cashback when redeeming it too, although I’m not 100% certain about that.
Thanks! Went to check Amex offers on P1 & P2 cards. Sad that I don’t even have the HP offer. Looks like I got my self exited for nothing. I guess better luck next time.
I think we only had it on business cards.
