Tips & Ideas
This is a fantastic offer if you have one of the eligible GTE credit cards because it means you’re effectively earning 10% back on up to $2,000 of spend at these retailers. With Staples, Office Depot/Office Max, Walmart, Target and more listed as eligible retailers, it won’t be hard to max out this offer by buying gift cards if you wouldn’t be spending that much by the end of the month organically.
If you don’t have a GTE credit card, the registration page linked to above specifically states that you can apply for their credit card and then register for the offer once you have the card, so it’s like getting $200 back for spending $2,000. Depending on which card you apply for, you might also get $100 back when spending $3,000 in the first three months.
