Update 3/23/21: New expiry date of March 31, 2021.
Update 2/25/21: This offer is back again with a new expiry date of March 18, 2021. Seeing as Google Pay runs on RCLON, you should be able to stack this with cashback/rewards from an app which runs on Figg/Empyr. I’ve noticed some in the past offering up to 30% cashback (e.g. GetUpside), but those offers might be regional.
You can also stack it with the Burger King Chase Offer which is giving 15% back on up to $15 of spend if you were targeted for that offer, as well as Bitmo’s new card-linked program.
Update 1/22/21: This offer should now be showing in the app even if you didn’t receive an email about it.
Update 1/19/21: This offer seems to have been extended through January 31. I’m not seeing it listed in the app, but Google Pay sent an email with a link to this offer; when clicking the link on my phone, it lets me activate it and has that new expiry date. If you didn’t take advantage of this offer already, keep an eye out for that email.

Tips & Ideas
This is a card-linked offer, so you can pay with a card that earns more on dining purchases to make the deal even more rewarding. You have to link the offer to your payment card in the new version of Google Pay’s app called GPay.
You can buy a gift card in-restaurant to lock in the 20% cashback. The offer lists a minimum spend of $10, but doesn’t list an upper limit. You obviously don’t want to be buying a $250 Burger King gift card to resell seeing as no one’s going to buy that, but it might be possible to buy a bunch of lower denomination gift cards in the same transaction to maximize resale opportunity. There might be an unlisted maximum cashback limit though.
