With the in-store offers it’ll be possible to buy gift cards to lock in the 12% cashback. I’m not sure if any of the online versions will work; I think Adidas will and physical Gap gift cards should as I think both retailers process payment for those cards themselves.
Note that Google Pay card-linked offers run on RCLON; that means it won’t stack with some other card-linked programs like Rakuten’s in-store offers, Bumped, SimplyMiles and more. Check out this resource I created over on Frequent Miler for a complete list of which card-linked programs won’t stack.
In terms of what will stack, any Amex Offers and Chase Offers for these retailers will work, as will Dosh and some other apps. Dosh is offering 3% cashback at Gap online, 5% at Adidas and 15% at Maurices. Collinson-backed shopping portals (JetBlue, Caesars, Choice and Emirates) have Gap card-linked offers.
