Update 12/17/21: When this virtual Visa gift card deal launched a couple of days ago, there was no expiry date listed. Blackhawk Network has now advised that the offer has been extended through December 31, 2021. I wouldn’t be surprised if it sells out before then though.

You can save 5% on up to three $250 virtual Visa gift cards which more than offsets the purchase fees. You’ll be getting $750 worth of virtual Visa gift cards at a net cost of $730.35, so you’ll make $19.65 profit even before credit card rewards and shopping portal earnings.
Speaking of which, click through from a shopping portal to earn some additional cashback/points/miles. Remember that the Southwest shopping portal is offering 500 bonus points when spending $200+ which should work with this virtual Visa gift cards offer despite the terms of the Southwest portal promotion excluding gift card purchases.
I think there’s also a Citi Offer for GiftCards.com, although I’ve seen people report that it doesn’t credit correctly.
Some people *cough*myself*cough are unable to get GiftCards.com to process their orders, while some people are lucky enough to be able to get multiple orders through, so hopefully you fall into the latter camp.
newbie question: what’s the best card to use? I know amex doesn’t count, and boa doesn’t count as online also. thank you!
You can use an Amex if you want as you’ll still earn rewards, although it might be best not to do that if you’re working on a signup bonus.
I think there might be some niche cards that earn more on GiftCards.com purchases, but the best card will depend on what cards you currently have.
Thank you so much for the input. I just used citi double cash, since i don’t know other better option. Also, citi offer on giftcards dot com doesn’t trigger for me. I tried twice before. 🙁
The Double Cash is a decent choice. If you’re not working on a signup bonus, the best card to use is an ‘all other spend’ card like the one you used.
There are 2 promo codes – does that mean you can do the $750 for $730.35 twice?

My orders get cancelled so I haven’t had a chance to test it, but someone else mentioned elsewhere they’d gotten a couple of orders in by using the two different promo codes.
I just got an ad in my Gmail account for this deal, but with the code of “VV56A27”, so that should be a third working code.
