Tips & Ideas
Giftcards.com sometimes offers a 10% discount on virtual Visa gift cards. This offer obviously isn’t as good, but it’ll still be profitable even after accounting for the purchase fees.
The maximum denomination of Visa gift cards from Giftcards.com is $250. Buying three of those will incur fees of $17.85 ($5.95 per card), but you’ll get $37.50 off which means you’ll make a $19.65 profit even before taking into account credit card rewards.
Even better is the fact that several shopping portals are still offering 3%/3x on Giftcards.com purchases. Note that you’re limited to earning portal rewards on a maximum of $2,000 of Giftcards.com purchases per month – that’s across all portals. Southwest and American Airlines are also offering additional portal bonuses right now.
Giftcards.com often launches additional promo codes during sales like this, so hopefully that’ll happen again with this sale.
There’s a limit of three cards for this promo. They seem to enforce that limit for some people but not others, so you might be able to use this promo code more than once if you’re lucky.
Rakuten is back down to 1% unfortunately.
My Double Cash card had a 1.5% offer for giftcards.com as well. Should stack with Rakuten 1%.

Additional codes: SPRINGSALE, SPRINGVISA, and SPRING. Don’t know whether they are subject to the one limit or separate limits. Also, SPRINGVIP appears to still be working, despite the fact that it was supposed to have expired on 3/10.
