(EXPIRED) Giant/Martin’s/Stop & Shop: Earn 6x Points On All Gift Cards

Update 6/11/22: There are reports on Disboards that despite the ad saying that the 6x offer is valid on all gift cards, at least some gift cards aren’t earning points (e.g. Disney & Amazon.) It’s not clear if this is a glitch with how the promotion has been set up or if the wording of the promotion in the ad is incorrect and that it’s only meant to be valid on the pictured brands.

Something else potentially of note is that the weekly ads for Giant Food stores in PA and Martin’s include Boscov’s in the picture which makes me wonder if it is only meant to be valid on these specific brands.

6x points isn’t a very generous return, especially on the eligible brands.

Update: I’d missed that the weekly ad said the 6x points is valid on all gift cards, not only on the ones pictured in the ad. That makes it much more interesting because it means it’ll be valid on brands like Amazon, Best Buy, Nike, Home Depot, eBay, etc. While 6% redeemed towards groceries is only 6% off, redeeming the points for gas can offer savings of up to 12%. Thanks to Justin for the heads up about that.
