This is a simply phenomenal deal. Every $500 Visa gift card you buy will earn you 2,000 points which can be redeemed for $20 off groceries or up to $40 (or more) off gas. Seeing as Visa gift cards have an activation fee of $5.95, every Visa gift card you buy is effectively getting you $14.05 of free groceries or better before taking into account liquidation costs.
Note that these cards are issued by MetaBank and there had been issues recently liquidating them at Walmart. However, it should still be possible to liquidate them at Giant, Martin’s or Stop & Shop and elsewhere.
