Can someone explain how the Giant points can potentially be valued at 2c ? 10x back would be 10% CB equivalent for grocery or gas, how does this become valued at 2c when using for gas?
It’s 10% back on groceries. With gas, every 100 points is worth 10c off per gallon on up to 20 gallons. If you buy a $100 gift card with this promotion, you’d therefore earn 1,000 points. That’s worth $1 off per gallon, so you could save up to $20 on gas which is where the 20% (or 2c) value comes from.

But with 1000 points, you only have enough points for up to $10 on gas so it would be 10% or 1c, right?
No, that’s not how their program works. 1,000 points gets you $1 off per gallon and you can use it on up to 20 gallons.
