This deal doesn’t start until March 22, so hold off until then to buy Happy gift cards. Giant also owns the Martin’s and Stop & Shop chains, so this deal should be running at those stores too.
If you buy a $125 Happy gift card, you’ll earn 1,000 Gas rewards points which can save you $1 off per gallon on up to 20 gallons. If you can fill your vehicle(s) to that 20 gallon limit, you’d be saving 16%.
Some Happy gift card brands can be used at Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond and Buy Buy Baby. Those all have gift card racks and the Happy gift cards can, in theory, be used to purchase third party gift cards, Visa gift cards, etc. There have been reports though of some cashiers being unwilling to accept Happy gift cards for those kind of purchases, despite their system not being hardcoded to reject the cards when paying for other gift cards. So long as your local Home Depot/BBB stores lets you buy third party gift cards, this Happy gift card deal can be profitable for resellers.
