Tips & Ideas
Brinker gift cards can be used at Chili’s, On The Border and Maggiano’s, while Bass Pro Shops and Cabela’s gift cards can be used at each other’s stores.
Gas Rewards points at Giant, Martin’s and Stop & Shop can be used to save money on up to 20 gallons of fuel. If you spent $125 on one or more of these gift cards, you’d have 1,000 Gas Rewards points. If you can fill to that 20 gallon limit, you’d effectively be saving 16%. That’s good for personal use, but unlikely to be worth it for reselling.
Remember to pay with a credit card that earns more at grocery stores. Discover It cardholders have a few days left in the current quarter to earn 5%, while Chase Freedom will be offering 5% from April 1.
