Update 7/8/24: Rudiger has confirmed that you only have to buy one of these gift cards with $10 of groceries to get the $10 off.
Update 7/4/24: I’d misread the ad and missed the requirement that you also have to spend $10 on groceries to get the $10 discount. Bdon has also pointed out in the comments that the ad says you’ll save $10 when spending $10 on groceries and buying $50 gift cards for Fanatics and Texas Roadhouse. That ‘and’ has therefore made this promo a little unclear. Do they mean you have to buy $50 gift cards for both Fanatics and Texas Roadhouse, or is the ‘and’ just referencing that those are the two eligible brands for this promo and so ‘or’ would’ve sufficed instead? Let us know if you try taking advantage of this deal and how it works out.

Tips & Ideas
When it comes to gift card deals, Giant normally has a crappy version of whatever Giant Food Stores, Martin’s and Stop & Shop are offering. This is a rare exception where it’s the other way around.
Those three other stores are offering 10x points on these same two gift card brands this week which can be worth up to 20% back towards gas. However, that’s only if you can max out the fuel redemption. Giant on the other hand is just giving a straight 20% discount.
What I don’t know is how easily this can be scaled. Do you have to buy $50 gift cards in different transactions? Are you able to buy multiple $50 gift cards in the same transaction? Or can you buy larger denominations and get $10 off for each $50 (e.g. $100 gift cards for $80, $150 for $120, etc.)? Let us know if you test this out. Seeing as it’s a straight discount, it should be easy enough to ascertain how the deal is being processed and cancel the transaction before paying if it only ends up taking off a max of $10 per transaction.
So youre buying $50 Fanatics AND $50 Texas Road House along with $10 worth of groceries, which would be free because of the $10 off of GCs. I dont like the hoops for this one..
I think it’s one or the other of the gift cards, rather than having to buy both; that wording is a little confusing though, so your interpretation might be correct. I’d also missed the $10 grocery spend requirement, so I’ll get that added to the post – thanks!
