This promo offers a free $5 gift card to one of 20 restaurants. You need to enroll in text alerts, then a few days later you should receive an email with a link to claim the gift card.
The purpose of the promo is to reward someone else, but you could in theory just enter your own details. The person you send the card to will then receive an email with a code to claim the gift card.
It’s quick and easy to do and you can stop the text alerts anytime you want, although it’s probably best to wait until the gift card has actually been claimed just in case. This might be a targeted offer as I received an email about it, but it might be worth enrolling in text alerts even if you didn’t receive an email in case it works.
