Earning up to 10% cashback on Kroger gift cards is a pretty good deal. Seeing as you’re buying these in the Fluz app, it might also code as a grocery purchase; no guarantee on that, but it’d be worth paying for the gift cards with a credit card that earns more at grocery stores just in case.

Can these be used to buy gas?
physical kroger gift cards can. i’m not entirely sure how you could do it with this. i’ve never tried to use an egc at kroger fuel stations.
Perhaps if you pay at the kiosk rather than at the pump itself, but I’ve never tried and so I’m not certain.
No, they cannot. The Kroger eGC has a specific exclusion that says that it cannot be used to buy fuel. I also tried one at the kiosk a few month ago and it would not work. And, because Kroger’s POS system is hard-coded to not allow GC with GC purchases, you cannot swap it out for a plastic one.
It says earn up to 2% for me now today. Yesterday it was 6-8%, I forget
