Google Pay used to highlight these kinds of deals in the app, but for some reason they’re not showing up for me on the ‘Explore’ page. However, you can search for them in the app and they’ll show up.

You have to activate the offer(s) in order to use them. You don’t have to pay with the Google Pay app itself; instead, you just need to make sure you pay with an enrolled card.

The terms exclude gift card purchases, but that isn’t always enforced and so you might be able to buy gift cards in order to earn 12% cashback on the purchase which is a decent return. Keep an eye out for Chase Offers and Amex Offers that’ll stack with these seeing as they’re card-linked offers too. For example, I think there’s a L’Occitane Amex Offer.
