Gift card purchases are excluded from earning 8% cashback, but that hasn’t always been enforced. Sam’s Club gift cards can also be used at Walmart, so this is a way to lock in an 8% discount if you shop there and it does track.
Sam’s Club also sells several other gift card brands at a discount, including some restaurant gift cards for ~20% off. If you earn this 8% cashback, that could make some deals good for reselling.
With a limit of $20 cashback per day, you’ll max out this deal by spending $250 each day.
