Tips & Ideas
Adidas is currently offering a 20% discount on their gift cards. Ordinarily I’d assume that these two offers wouldn’t stack seeing as their eGift cards appear to be processed by a third party.
However, I tried taking advantage of that 20% deal recently and the transaction showed up as being from Adidas.com and triggered the 4x bonus Membership Rewards Amex Offer for Adidas. That makes me think that this Dosh deal might stack with the 20% discount after all.
Just tried using this on the GC deal, but no it did not track despite the transaction description saying “Adidas AMERICA”.
Did you do it on mobile or desktop? I’m curious if it codes differently depending on what device you use – similar to Delta gift card purchases – as it showed up as Adidas.com the other week when ordering on desktop.
Dosh (or adidas) must have changed the tracking. It tracked immediately last week (desktop purchase) but didn’t just now. The google pay offer also didn’t track (& gift cards are specifically excluded from that offer). Of course, most of my orders that Dosh “tracked” last week were automatically canceled by Adidas anyway…
It wouldn’t surprise me if Adidas changed something – they might’ve belatedly realized they were paying out affiliate commission on the gift card purchases.
