Tips & Ideas

The terms excludes gift card and eGift card purchases, but I think that’s because of how Dell gift card purchases are processed. It should be possible to buy Xbox gift cards to trigger the statement credit or bonus Membership Rewards though.

A couple of things to bear in mind if going that route though. First, Dell charges tax on $50 Xbox gift cards but not other denominations from what I’m aware. Second, if you’re planning on reselling the Xbox gift cards then be prepared for the possibility of needing to float the purchase for a while. Due to the Amex Platinum credits, there’s been a lot of people buying Xbox gift cards from Dell and so there are likely a lot of cards floating around waiting to be sold, even if they’re not listed on Raise and other marketplaces yet.
