Tips & Ideas
eGift card purchases are listed as being excluded, but that refers to Dell gift cards. With these Dell Amex Offers you can buy Xbox gift cards to lock in the discount.

You were right, Stephen. Went to buy 5 xbox gift cards today and dell canceled all but 2. Do you know any tricks to get around this?
Maybe space the purchases out a little rather than buying so many per day. The fact that you got two orders through is a good sign as it means they’re still processing your gift card orders, unless those were your first two orders and they’re now cancelling future gift card purchases on your account.
If that does happen, you could try deleting all your cards as payment methods and set up a new account with a different email address. My account seemed to get blacklisted for all purchases and that worked for my first order on the a new account, although they did cancel a subsequent order.
I stupidly tried a bunch of different ways, so at this point I’ve tried buying like a dozen gift cards today with only the first 2 going through. Did you ever try contacting Dell? I might do that and just say that I was buying a bunch of gift cards to use at Microsoft, but that I was getting an effective 30% off through dell with the shopping portals, Amex offers and the GAME10 discount. I would love to not have my account get blacklisted…
Contacting Dell isn’t likely to help much, but you could always try. Even when calling and placing an order over the phone, reps will think everything’s fine, but orders will get auto cancelled. I’d give it a day or two before trying to place another order in case it’s just some kind of velocity issue.
I should also mention that I set up an account for P2 with a different address and used her AU green card (from my Biz Plat card that I’m trying to make these purchases on) and that got cancelled. So they are definitely on to me.
