- Excludes orders placed through third party delivery services, bulk gift card orders, gift cards and e-gift cards purchased online or via the merchant mobile app, corporate sales, authorized retailers, transactions at international locations and via international versions of the website, and Pasta Pass.
- Purchases may fall outside of the offer period in some cases due to a delay in merchants submitting transactions to us or if the purchase date differs from the date you made the transaction (for example, the purchase date for online orders may be the shipping date).
- If American Express does not receive information that identifies your transaction as qualifying for the offer, you will not receive the additional points. For example, your transaction will not qualify if it is not made directly with the merchant. In addition, in most cases, you may not receive the additional Membership Rewards points if your transaction is made with an electronic wallet or through a third party.
- EARNING POINTS: You will receive 5 additional Membership Rewards points per eligible dollar spent using your enrolled American Express Card in accordance with the terms of this offer.

Tips & Ideas
These are decent spending offers, especially if you can load them to an Amex Gold card. That’s because that card already earns 4x Membership Rewards per dollar on restaurant spend, so these Amex Offers mean you’d earn a total of 9 points per dollar on up to $1,000 of spend per restaurant brand.
It’s not possible to buy eGift cards to trigger these Amex Offers as payment for those isn’t processed by these restaurants. However, it should be possible to buy physical gift cards as it looks like those payments are processed directly by Olive Garden, LongHorn Steakhouse, etc. Physical gift cards purchased online come with a small shipping fee, so you could buy gift cards in-restaurant to avoid that fee.
It’s also great that these offers are around for the next 3.5 months. Several of these restaurants will no doubt run some kind of bonus card promotion around the holidays (e.g. Buy $50 Olive Garden gift card & get $10 bonus card free), so earning up to 9x Membership Rewards points per dollar would be a nice additional return.
